Anyway, on Friday, we finally, finally, bought our new car. This process has been in the works for around a month (I was so annoyed that my mum, dad and brother chose a car without me (thank you, revision), because, it's a CAR. A CAR. But, anyway, I like their choice, so it's okay). It was ordered from Belgium, I think, and we picked it up just now. All thanks to the government's scrappage scheme, although it meant that our old car (a Ford Escort from 1994) had to be scrapped ;__; There are pictures of my brother and I as a little kids with that car, so it was sad.
But, anyway, my Dad's new car is a Ford Focus from 2009, and its so pretty, not to mind kind of fierce looking. We've never had a new car before, and I've been looking around car show rooms since I was about 7, so you could say it was overdue. My Dad paid for it outright, with a cheque. I've never seen anybody pay for a car with a cheque, but I'm not complaining. It has so many features, but most of all, it is comfortable and lovely to be inside.
Thus, a picture is mandatory at this stage:
( Fierceness, right here )
That's pretty much all I have to say, but we are going to Skegness tomorrow for my brother's birthday. It's annoying, because now I'll never be able to say that I've never been to Skegness. I don't really hear good things about it as a place, tbh.
OH, AND TORCHWOOD. TORCHWOOD. Well, it was explosive, excellent, unexpected and confusing. But I loved it.
But today has been a day of internet catch-up, which is pretty much how my life operates right now, but you know what? I'm good with that.
